Terms of Service and weather data disclaimer for Oracle by Lonia AI. See also our Privacy Policy.

Weather data disclaimer.

Oracle provides supplemental weather intelligence aggregated from official sources including the National Weather Service (NWS) and FAA aviation weather systems. Oracle is not a replacement for official NWS warnings. Always follow instructions from local emergency management during severe weather events.

Climate projections presented in Oracle are derived from publicly available datasets including ERA5 reanalysis data, USGS National Climate Change Viewer (NCCV) projections, and USDA Plant Hardiness Zone data. Projections represent possible future scenarios based on modeling assumptions and observed trends — they are not predictions.

Adaptation guidance provided through Oracle is for informational purposes only. Agricultural decisions should be made in consultation with local agricultural extension services, agronomists, and other qualified professionals familiar with site-specific conditions.

AI-generated content within Oracle (forecast interpretations, adaptation recommendations) is produced by large language models and tagged with provenance information including the model used, timestamp, and source data version. AI-generated content is supplemental analysis, not authoritative weather data.

Terms of service.

Oracle by Lonia AI is a product of Lonia AI. By using Oracle, you agree to the following terms.

Account and authentication

Oracle uses OAuth-only authentication through Google and Microsoft via Supabase Auth. No passwords are stored. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the OAuth account you use to access Oracle.

Data usage

Oracle stores your location data (coordinates, county, and nearest airport identifier) to provide weather and climate intelligence services. Weather data is cached temporarily and refreshed on a regular schedule. Your location data is not shared with third parties.

Service availability

Oracle depends on third-party data sources including the National Weather Service API, AviationWeather.gov, and climate data repositories. Service availability is subject to the availability of these upstream sources. Oracle is not liable for interruptions caused by upstream data providers.

Subscription and billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Monthly and annual billing options are available. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support@lonia.ai.

Limitation of liability

Oracle is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Lonia AI is not liable for any damages arising from the use of Oracle, including but not limited to agricultural losses, property damage, or personal injury. Oracle is supplemental intelligence — not a replacement for professional judgment or official emergency systems.
